Boomerang 100% Eco-Friendly paint
Boomerang 100% eco-friendly paint
Reducing the environmental impact of renovation projects
Recycled paint, a high-quality processed product
Recycled paint is often associated with “leftover paint”. In fact, Boomerang 100% eco-friendly paint is produced from unused surplus high-quality acrylic latex paint from major Quebec brands. They are dropped off by consumers at more than 1,200 collection points throughout Quebec and the Maritime provinces, to be recovered and repurposed.
The millions of kilograms of paint recovered each year are sorted to ensure that only products that meet our rigorous quality standards are processed. A small amount of additives are added to the recycled household paint to ensure product stability. Before being released to the market, the repurposed paint undergoes strict product testing and monitoring to ensure the quality, consistency and performance of Boomerang paint.
Once all the steps of the recycling process are completed, a brand new high quality paint is sold to retailers.

When renovating, every action counts to reduce the ecological footprint
For your renovation and decoration projects, buying a certified water-based, low organic compound (VOC) recycled paint, such as Boomerang, the 100% eco-friendly paint, is a responsible choice that helps reduce your ecological footprint and do your part for the environment.
Developed according to rigorous standards by master paint experts over the past 70 years, Société Laurentide’s Boomerang 100% eco-friendly paint is a product that:
- has low organic compound (VOC) emission;

- Boomerang paint containers are made from recycled plastic and are also recyclable.
On average, Boomerang 100% eco-friendly paint contains 43 grams of VOCs per litre, which meets national standards and LEED requirements. VOC content was measured using standard EPA 24 and ASTM D-2369 methods.

Thanks to our high standards and 25 years of experience and know-how in paint repurposing, Société Laurentide guarantees you a high-quality, genuine ecological product.
A positive environmental impact at every stage of your project
When it comes to painting your walls and ceilings, you can make an impact at every stage:
- CHOOSE to use a 100% eco-friendly paint such as Boomerang;
- REDUCE your paint surplus by calculating the quantity needed;
- REUSE surplus paint or give it away to avoid buying new quantities;
- RECOVER unused surplus paint by storing it in its original container, tightly closed to prevent it from drying out;
- RECYCLE surplus paint by dropping it off at one of the 1,200 drop-off points so that it can be transformed into Boomerang 100% eco-friendly paint.
Every action counts! The websites of Quebec’s Éco-Peinture and the Association pour la Gestion Responsable des Produits (AGRP) Product Care provide tips on how to take key actions as a consumer.
