Subject to rigorous scientific testing and an exhaustive audit, this certification proves its compliance with strict third-party environmental performance standards. Everything is analysed: materials, energy, manufacturing and operations, health and environment, product performance and use, and product management and innovation.
In addition to certifying that Boomerang 100% eco-friendly paint is an environmentally friendly product, UL Canada certifies that the products are safe for the consumer to use.

The Ici on recycle certification recognizes the efforts of Quebec companies committed to improving their waste management performance. It is a program offered by Recyc-Québec, a government agency that promotes the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).
Société Laurentide is level 3 Performance+ certified, which shows that the company has reached an advanced level and an excellent performance in the development of its residual materials.
This certification attests that the company is concerned, proactive and committed to the responsible management of its residual materials. For example, the water used in our manufacturing processes is filtered and treated before being released into the water system.
The way we produce paint is also environmentally friendly. The water used in our manufacturing processes undergoes a filtration and wastewater treatment process to clean it up before it goes back into the water system.
