Daphne is a renovation addict! Self-taught at heart, she shares her passion and her best decorating and renovation tips with her community of committed women. Inspiring women to start renovating with confidence is her mission!
“I love challenging myself with DIY, giving objects a second life and making ultra satisfying BEFORE/AFTERs!”
According to her, getting involved is the best way to save costs. Beyond the involvement in the project, there is also the transformation, the revalorisation of objects or materials which allows to save money. Sometimes she uses scraps of materials to make a new project, a great way to reduce her consumption and get more for her money!
Daphne has loved all the Boomerang ready-to-paint colours she has used, but says she has a soft spot for the Evergreen colour.

Sophie Martin, Design Ambassador for Boomerang Paint
Married with two children, Sophie is a lifestyle photographer. The word that best describes her: intensity! Her daily life being very chaotic and full of twists and turns, she likes to offer a glimpse of real life, when nothing is all nice and perfect with a blended family of four children!
Sophie’s all about renovation projects. She is passionate about remodeling and decorating, much to the dismay of her husband!
“I like to unearth small wonders and transform them to give them a new life and make my home unique.”
Her tip for successful renovations at low cost: do it yourself! It’s not only fun, but it gives you a great sense of pride in the result you’ve imagined! She loves to transform old furniture with a good coat of paint, which allows her to give new life to pieces she’s found at low cost!
“The Boomerang brand is an eco-friendly paint, which goes great with my love for old furniture and recycled materials. Second hand is a big yes!”
Sophie loves the more neutral colours of Boomerang by Laurentide, especially the Linen and Cotton colours. And to give it a bit of a kick, the Evergreen colour is just perfect in her opinion.
